The NIDA Core Center of Excellence in Omics, Systems Genetics, and the Addictome (OSGA Center) was funded by NIDA in 2017 as collaboration between the University of Colorado and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (P30 DA044223 2017-2023).
The goal of the OSGA Center is to empower researchers studying addiction in animal models—to enable our colleagues to test causal linkages between molecular and cellular traits and risk of substance use, risk of relapse, and treatment efficacy while fostering FAIR approaches and to enable integration of data with human substance use disorder research.
We are currently seek additional funding to continue to offer training opportunities for all researchers. We always appreciate feedback, suggestions, and of course, support. You can contact us directly at Laura.Saba@cuanschutz.edu.
