The Omics, Systems Genetics, and the Addictome (OSGA) is a resource center project funded by the National Institute for Drug Abuse (P30 DA063727).
Our goal is to is to build and empower a community of substance use disorder (SUD) researchers to use large-scale data approaches to test and confirm causal links from genetic, molecular, and cellular traits to SUD-related behaviors in rodent models and to translate these findings to human clinical SUD prevention and treatment.

Complex problems require connected science.
Substance use disorders arise from complex interactions among genetic, molecular, cellular, behavioral, and environmental factors. Understanding these relationships increasingly requires large-scale, multiomic datasets and advanced statistical and computational approaches that can be difficult for individual research teams to generate and use independently.
The Addictome brings together the data, expertise, tools, and collaborative infrastructure needed to help researchers move from complex data to biological discovery.
